Snack Packaging

Food advertising for a basic but staple snack. Nice and sweet for kids just like graham crackers, and the redesign of the carton’s packaging that was necessary.

The color palette of the exterior panels ended up not changing too much from the original though many alternate versions were attempted. With food packaging certain colors just would not be thematic or translate well to being associated with anything consumable. The previous package used orange to try to pop with contrast over the tan background. The new design simply contrast white with the colors stemming from the golden honey and natural earth tones of brown, tan and yellow of the actual product. Brown white and golden brown seemed ideal to feature in paying homage to what most associate graham crackers with – smores around a campfire.

All previous text was to be retained but all graphics besides the logo were to be redesigned and refreshed
