Character Concept

Design a character. What would he or she look like? What makes them interesting and captivating? Do they already exist somewhere? Why do they need to be seen? I feel I answered these questions for myself with this character. If this is the visual you were given, what story does she tell to you? Yes, I’m talking to you (writers, directors, and animators) out there!

This digital painting was accomplished using selections in the color separation channels in Photoshop. Once the line art was refined from a series of sketches. Selections were made so recoloring could be more accurately and efficiently be changed if necessary.
