This photo I shot on an early summer break morning at Venice Beach is called “early mornin’ shots goin’ up”. The double meaning is the intent since shots refer to shooting the photo and shooting hoops before the Venice Beach crowd arrives. Same photo but also a different view. The intent was to show how apparel and photography are artistic expressions relative to individuals and their perspectives, simply in the eye of the beholder.
This was my first attempt at getting something I designed, made to wear. Dealing with outsourcing and ensuring my design specs were met was all part of the process so this is a sentimental shirt for me.
Personal Assignment: Photo Composite | Graphic for Print & Apparel Rationale: This graphic was inspired by one of my photos, purposed for an experimental T-shirt to wear. Specifications: digital design for output on 17”H x 11”W page | CMYK
